5th Grade, Module 4: What Are Fractions?

FRACTIONS 

 

Fractions usually give information about portions. It is used in building multiple strategies. It gives answers to how much did you contribute, or what portion do you own in a business etc.  


Through this chapter we will be able to 

  • compare fractions;  

  • write fractions in their equivalent forms as well as their lowest terms;  

  • multiply and divide fractions with whole numbers as well as fractions.
