How can a parent edit his child's profile details?
Follow these simple steps to update the child profile details using the Kapdec mobile app
- Open Kapdec App and sign into your parent account.
- In the bottom navigation bar, tap on "My Children". You will see the list of your children here.
- Select the child whose profile you want to update.
- At the top right corner, tap the three vertical dots
> Edit profile
- To update the child profile details: At the top right corner, tap on the circular 'Edit' button. Update your name, date of birth, school code and phone number as required. You CANNOT change the grade and email id of the student. Contact support@kapdec.com or call us at +91 7428633740 in case of any trouble.
- To update the child's mobile number: Enter the new phone number, an OTP will be sent to the new phone number you entered. Enter the OTP to successfully complete the verification process. Click on the "Save" button. (If you don't receive the OTP within a minute, click on "Resend OTP")
- To change the school code: Tap on the "School code" text field and enter the school code which is provided by the school administrator. If it is a valid school code, the school name will be automatically displayed in the "school name" text field. Click on the "Save" button. A "School connect" request will be sent to the school administrator and once approved, the student account will be connected to the school. The student will be notified via email once the school connect request is approved. Contact your school administrator in case of any issues.
- To change the profile photo: Tap on the camera button near the circular area designated for your photo and select the picture from your gallery.
- Adjust the cropping tool to select the desired area of your picture and click "Crop". Your profile picture will be updated.
Note: Changing your profile picture in the app will also change the profile picture in your browser version of Kapdec.
